Andy Lau revealed in a live broadcast yesterday that he will star in the movie "The Wandering Earth 2". The film is directed by Guo Fan and produced by Liu Cixin. It will be released in mainland China on the first day of the Chinese New Year in 2023. Wu Jing has previously confirmed that he will star in the film, which will start shooting in August.

In addition to The Wandering Earth 2, Andy will also star in Shock Wave 3 (released next year). This year he will mainly shoot the movie Crisis Line.
