Recently, "Shazam 2: Wrath of the Gods" released new on-set photos, showing the new suit worn by Shazam, played by Zachary Levi. There are versions with and without a cape. The film will be released in North America on June 2, 2023. DC's new film "Shazam 2: Wrath of the Gods" has started filming in Atlanta, with producer Peter Safran returning and Henry Gayden, the screenwriter of the first film, continuing to write the script. Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, and Jack Dylan Grazer will all return. Previously, it was rumored that Asian actress Lucy Liu will also join "Shazam 2: Wrath of the Gods" to play the villain.
