Better late than never. 63-year-old Takahashi Rumiko opens Twitter and instantly has 50,000 followers

On June 1st, a holiday loved by everyone, the famous cartoonist, 63-year-old Rumiko Takahashi, suddenly opened a Twitter account, which aroused cheers and attention from fans. Her followers increased by 50,000 in one hour. The teacher personally drew a picture to commemorate her first post. It seems that the teacher still likes her first long work "Urusei Yatsura" the best.

Rumiko Takahashi, a famous Japanese female cartoonist, was born on October 10, 1957 in Niigata Prefecture, Japan. She is one of the representative cartoonists of Shogakukan, and her representative works include "Urusei Yatsura", "The Moment of Gathering", "Ranma 1/2", "Inuyasha", "Reincarnation of the Realm", etc. She made her official debut in 1978 with "Willful Guys" and won the 2nd Shogakukan Newcomer Award. In November 2020, she won the Purple Ribbon Medal.

Rumiko Takahashi is still writing. Her new work "MAO" is currently being serialized. I hope that she will produce more excellent works.
