Sony's new Marvel adaptation "Morbius" has been postponed again to January 21 next year

Sony's superhero film "Morbius: Doctor Vigilante" starring Jared Leto has been postponed again, from January 22 next year to January 28 in North America. This is the third time the film has been postponed. It was originally scheduled to be released on March 19 this year, and the first postponement on January 11 was changed to October 8, and then on January 21, the film was postponed again to January 21, 2022.

The film features Marvel's "pseudo-vampire" Morbius, who gains super strength, speed, perception and flight abilities due to mutation. The new Spider-Man villain Vulture (Michael Keaton) returns, with Matt Smith (Doctor Who), Adria Arjona (Pacific Rim 2), Tyrese Gibson (Fast and Furious), and Jared Harris (Chernobyl) starring, and directed by Daniel Espinosa (Alien: Awakening, Child 44).

It tells the story of Morbius, who was originally a biological scientist. While treating his rare disease, his body mutated and he became a vampire-like character who needs to suck blood to survive, hates the light, can fly, and has super strength, speed, and self-healing abilities.
