Today (April 18), Amber Heard posted a photo on Twitter hinting that she will return to "Aquaman 2" to play the "Queen of the Sea" Mera.

Amber Heard said on Twitter that she took this photo before filming Aquaman 2 and will return to play Mera. The sequel is scheduled to start filming in London in June. Jason Momoa returns to play Aquaman, Patrick Wilson returns to play King Orm, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II returns to play Black Manta, Dolph Lundgren returns to play King Nereus of Xebel, and James Wan continues to direct.

Director Wan previously said that the sequel will be more serious and more closely related to the environment we live in now.
