James Cameron reveals he is working on a new Terminator project but the project is completely secretive

Although the famous director James Cameron has focused all his energy on the "Avatar" series, he has not forgotten another science fiction film series "Terminator" created by himself.

Recently, in an interview with foreign media "TThe Hollywood Reporter", Cameron was asked about his views on Netflix's upcoming animated series "Terminator: Zero". Cameron said: "My relationship with it is very similar to "The Sarah Connor Chronicles" (also known as "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles")-other people make up stories in the world I set, which is very interesting to me."

Cameron is also curious about the development of this new story, especially the part about returning to Judgment Day revealed in the title. However, Cameron changed the subject and said: "I am currently working on my own Terminator project, which has nothing to do with that. Just like the Sarah Connor Chronicles, they occasionally touch on things that I play completely independently, so this (makes me) a little curious, but not a strong curiosity. But obviously, (I will still) be happy to see it succeed."

Although James Cameron revealed a new "Terminator" project, he kept it a secret and even joked about the setting of "Terminator": "This is completely confidential. If you want to talk about it, I don't want to send out a potentially dangerous robot agent, even after the fact."

It is understood that James Cameron revealed in 2023 that he was writing a new "Terminator" movie, but it is not clear whether the new project revealed this time is the same.
