After 28 years, Stephen Chow's film "The God of Cookery" is scheduled to be released in mainland China on August 31

On August 12, after 28 years, Stephen Chow's movie "The God of Cookery" announced that it will be released in mainland China on August 31. The release poster and trailer were released simultaneously. The film is directed by Stephen Chow and Lee Lik-chi, and starred by Stephen Chow, Karen Mok, Ng Man-tat and Au Kam-tong. It tells the story of the well-known God of Cookery, Sing Zai, who, after becoming famous and successful, neglected the taste of food, was betrayed by his wealthy partner, and defeated by his apprentice Tang Niu. Sing Zai then fell into Temple Street and was later taken in by a stall owner. With her help, he realized the true meaning of food and regained the title of God of Cookery.
