"Saw 9" rescheduled to May 14th in North America, classic horror film returns

"Saw 9" was originally scheduled to be released in North America on May 21, 2021. Recently, according to foreign media Deadline, Lionsgate announced that "Saw 9" will be rescheduled to May 14 in North America. The official also released a new release trailer. Let's take a look!

Chris Rock, Samuel L. Jackson, Max Minghella and Marisol Nicole will star in the film, and Saw 2/3/4 director Darren Ryan Bousman will return to direct.

Saw tells the story of arrogant detective Ezekiel (Locke) and his rookie partner William (Minghella), working under the shadow of respected veteran police officer Marcus (Jackson), in charge of a chilling murder investigation that recalls the city's horrific past. Unknowingly, Ezekiel is caught up in a deepening mystery and finds himself at the center of the killer's sick game.
