The new Transformers film received $200 million in investment and is expected to be released on June 24, 2022

According to the Canadian news website Journal de Montreal, the next Transformers movie will be primarily filmed in Canada and has received a budget investment of US$200 million (approximately RMB 1.3 billion).

The new Transformers movie will be produced by Canada's MTL Grandé Studios. Interestingly, the new Transformers movie will be shot mainly in the studio, not outdoors. It is said that the shooting cycle of the new film is 11 weeks, from July to September, and then go to Peru for the next stage of shooting.

The new Transformers movie has reportedly received a $200 million budget, which is roughly equal to the combined budget of every previous live-action Transformers movie (excluding Bumblebee). This also means that this upcoming Transformers movie will return to the big-budget film series.

The new Transformers movie is scheduled to be released on June 24, 2022.
