The opening animation of "Neon Genesis Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) End" has been released

The 12-minute and 10-second opening animation of "Neon Genesis Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) End" has been released. The animation will be released in Japan on March 8, 2021, with a duration of approximately 2 hours and 34 minutes.

"Neon Genesis Evangelion" is a re-creation of the original "Neon Genesis Evangelion" plot. The film director is Hideaki Anno, who produced Neon Genesis Evangelion. It is divided into four parts - "Neon Genesis Evangelion: 1.0+1.0" (2007), "Neon Genesis Evangelion: 2.0+1.0" (2009), "Neon Genesis Evangelion: 3.0+1.0" (2012) and "Neon Genesis Evangelion: 3.0+1.0" which will be released in early this year after an absence of eight years.

"Neon Genesis Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) End" was produced by the animation company Khara, with Hideaki Anno as the chief director and screenwriter, Kazuya Tsurumaki and Katsuichi Nakayama as co-directors, Atsushi Nishigori as the chief animation supervisor, and Shiro Sagisu as the music composer.
