"The Gray Man" is directed by the Russo brothers, directors of the "Avengers" movie. According to Deadline, Netflix plans to make "The Gray Man" into a series with a budget of more than $200 million, which is the highest-budgeted original movie in Netflix's history.

In addition to director Joe Russo, the script for "The Gray Man" was written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, screenwriters of the "Captain America" ​​and "Avengers" movies.

The Gray Man will begin filming in Los Angeles later this month. The film is based on the 2009 novel by Mark Greaney and revolves around a former CIA spy and freelance assassin nicknamed "The Gray Man" whose real name is Kurt Gentry. It shows the deadly duel between assassins. Gosling plays the assassin, who will be hunted around the world by Lloyd Hansen, a former CIA colleague played by Captain America.
