Star Wars animation "Star Wars: Defects" will be launched on Disney+ on May 4

Lucasfilm and Disney announced today (February 25) that the new Star Wars animation "Star Wars: The Bad Batch" will be broadcast on Disney's streaming platform "Disney+" on May 4, 2021 (Star Wars Day). The second episode will be broadcast on Friday, May 7, and the subsequent episodes will premiere on Fridays.

Star Wars: Defects tells the story of the elite Clone Force 99, who struggle to make a living in a changing galaxy after the end of the Clone Wars. Each of them has a unique skill that makes them a formidable team.

"Star Wars: Defects" is co-produced by Dave Filoni (The Mandalorian; Star Wars: The Clone Wars), Athena Portillo (Star Wars: The Clone Wars; Star Wars Rebels), Brad Rau (Star Wars: Rebels; Star Wars: Resistance) and others.
