The Suicide Squad is the biggest R-rated movie ever

Recently, Joel Kinnaman talked about the Gunn version of "The Suicide Squad" in which he participated, saying that this film is not a sequel to David Ayer's version of "Suicide Squad". "The movie created by James Gunn is a new universe, which is completely different. It feels like everything started from scratch. It doesn't feel like a sequel. It feels like something between a reboot."

He continued, "I don't think Gunn needs to compromise his vision. He's going to make it his own way, and it's going to be the biggest R-rated movie ever! And it's going to be very R-rated and super silly! It's very childish, it's the kind of childish humor, but it's very profound and it really moves you. And then it's super violent and very silly! Every character is so ridiculous."

"The Suicide Squad" is not a direct sequel to the "Suicide Squad" series. Although it has some connection with the previous film, it is described as a "complete reboot". It was previously confirmed that Stallone will star in the film, but the specific role he plays in the film has not yet been announced.

"The Suicide Squad" will be released in North American theaters on August 6 and will be available on HBO MAX streaming media simultaneously.
