Marvel Pictures CEO: Spoilers won't affect the fun of Marvel movies

Due to the premiere, spoilers for Deadpool vs. Wolverine are inevitable. The final trailer released by Marvel itself also spoiled the appearance of some characters. However, Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige said that he does not think spoilers will ruin the viewing experience of MCU movies.

In an interview with Coming Soon, Feige explained: "Today, it's very difficult, almost impossible. I think I realized a long time ago that it's good to keep some secrets. The only reason we want to keep it secret is to keep it a surprise. So that the audience, that packed theater, can discover something new for the first time together and experience the adrenaline rush of surprise for the first time."

He went on to point out that when audiences walk into a theater and sit down with like-minded people to watch a film, any preconceived notions caused by spoilers disappear.

"If a movie works, if those moments work, then they work regardless. If there's a surprise, it's probably better. But if they're well-crafted movie moments, then they work 99 percent of the time. So that's what makes me feel better when there's spoilers."

Deadpool vs. Wolverine is in theaters now.
