Fifth Predator Movie in Production, Director Confirmed

According to foreign media Deadline, 20th Century Fox has begun producing the fifth film in the "Predator" series. They have hired Dan Trachtenberg, the director of "10 Cloverfield Lane", to direct the film, and the screenwriter is Patrick Aison ("Jack Ryan", "Stumbling Stone").

Deadline reported that 20th Century Fox is keeping the plot secret for now, but the film will not continue the plot of the most recent movie. The most recent "Predator" movie was released in 2018 and directed by Shane Black.
