· "AKIRA" is a youth comic work by Japanese cartoonist Katsuhiro Otomo. It tells the story of the explosion point of a new type of bomb that is the fuse of World War III and the ultra-modern city built on Tokyo Bay, New Tokyo. The "accident" that occurred on the highway connecting the two places became the beginning of the huge story of "AKIRA".

The first volume of "Akira" was first released in 1984, and it has been 36 years and is still being updated. It has been reprinted 99 times without anyone noticing, and tomorrow a new edition will be released, the 100th reprint. It is truly an everlasting classic.
