DC will release a new Suicide Squad movie spin-off "Peacemaker" starring Zhao Xina

According to foreign media Deadline, DC's new "Suicide Squad" movie "The Suicide Squad" will launch a spin-off series "Peacemaker", which will be an action-adventure comedy with the "Peacemaker" played by John Cena in the film as the protagonist.

HBO Max has directly booked the entire season of the show (8 episodes in total). Film director James Gunn is the screenwriter of the show and will also direct several episodes including the first episode. John Cena starred and served as executive producer. Filming is expected to start early next year, before Gunn goes to make Marvel's new film "Guardians of the Galaxy 3".
