The original work of "Sword Art Online: Attack on Titan" was created by Reki Kawahara, and the illustrations were done by abec. It is a light novel published by Dengeki Bunko. This work is mainly used to fill the excessive plot jumps in the "Aincrad" chapter of the original "Sword Art Online".

As another series of Sword Art Online, Sword Art Online Progressive is used to supplement the lack of content in the first volume of the original Sword Art Online novel, which jumps directly from the first floor to the 74th floor. The word "Progressive" seems to be talking about the image format, but in terms of a single word it also means "step by step". This title represents that this book describes a series of strategies starting from the first floor of the floating city Aincrad. Therefore, SAOP is a story that retells the timeline of Sword Art Online from the first floor of Aincrad, and the specific content is the detailed process of each floor.
