"Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon" tells the story of the half-demon girls, Yongyuan, Setsuna and Moroha, who inherited the blood of monsters and humans. The twin girls Yongyuan and Setsuna were separated in a forest fire when they were young. Yongyuan came to the modern era from the Warring States Period through a tunnel that can travel through the time and space of the Tree of Time. She was raised by the Higurashi family where Kagome was, and grew up to be a female junior high school student who is proficient in martial arts.

The younger sister Setsuna, who stayed in the Warring States Period, works as a demon hunter under Kohaku, who has become the leader of demon hunters. Moroha is the daughter of Kagome and Inuyasha. As a bounty hunter, she has the title of "Monster Slayer Moroha" and works as a demon hunter every day.

Ten years have passed since Touyasu and Setsuna separated, and the tunnel through the time and space of the Tree of Time has opened again. Touyasu reunites with Setsuna in the present, but Setsuna has forgotten Touyasu for some reason. The OP theme song of the animation "Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon" has been confirmed to be the new song "NEW ERA" performed by the six-member idol group SixTONES, and the ED theme song will be "Break" composed by Uru. The animation will be jointly produced by Sunrise, Shogakukan and Yomiuri TV, directed by Teruo Sato, and the character design will still be done by Rumiko Takahashi. Stay tuned.
