Disney officially announced the death of the famous painter Sue Nichols. "We are very sad about the departure of Sue Nichols, an influential visual development and story artist who helped Disney complete many designs and narratives."

Sue Nichols was born on June 10, 1965. It is understood that she has been longing for a job at Disney since she was eight years old. She has also been passionate about painting since she was a child. She successfully graduated from Calarts in 1987. Her representative works include "The Lion King", "Mulan", "Beauty and the Beast" and other well-known animations. In addition, Sue Nichols has published many books about the status of women in the industry and her experience, and provides various suggestions to young people.

Sue Nichols was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2014. During her illness, she kept publicizing her progress in fighting the disease online, but unfortunately she was unable to defeat the cancer. (Local time on September 1) She died of cancer at the age of 55.
