"Scream 5" first releases dynamic poster, ghost mask appears again

Today (August 31), "Scream 5" released its first dynamic poster. The ghost face mask appeared again on the poster, and the words "January 14, 2022" appeared in the lower right corner. It seems that the release date of the film has been confirmed.

Officials said the film will make the audience scream again. A large number of veteran actors will join the crew, as well as many young actresses, including 17-year-old actress Jenna Ortega. According to the plan, former actors Courteney Cox, David Arquette and Neve Campbell will all return to the crew.

Wes Craven, the director of the first four "Scream" films, died in 2015. "Scream 5" will be directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Taylor Gillette, telling the story of a woman returning to her hometown to try to find out who committed a series of vicious crimes. The film is currently scheduled to start shooting after the epidemic ends, and the location is temporarily set in Wilmington, North Carolina. The film is scheduled to be released in North America on January 14, 2022.
