The box office on the Chinese Valentine's Day exceeded 500 million, setting a new single-day box office record since the resumption of work

According to data from Maoyan Professional Edition, the box office on Valentine's Day in 2020 exceeded 500 million yuan, setting a record for the highest single-day box office since the resumption of work in theaters across the country.

Among them, the love movie "I'm Waiting for You at the End of Time" starring Li Hongqi and Li Yitong had a single-day box office of 277 million yuan, setting a single-day record for a single film after the resumption of work, beating the 252 million box office of "Nezha: The Devil Child Comes to the World" on the Chinese Valentine's Day in 2019, creating the highest box office record for a single film during the Chinese Valentine's Day.

Guan Hu's war epic "Eight Hundred" took 186 million yuan and ranked second, with a cumulative box office of 1.15 billion yuan. "Wild Oats" starring Ma Sichun, Zhong Chuxi and Huang Jingyu took 36.432 million yuan on the first day and ranked third, "Little Women" took 10.82 million yuan and ranked fourth.
