"My Hometown and Me" released the trailer for "The Road Back Home", a unit directed by Deng Chao and Yu Baimei. In the vast desert of northern Shaanxi, yellow sand is flying all over the sky. Deng Chao, who is covered in dust and dirt while planting trees and controlling sand, meets his fellow villager Yan Ni, who is in a suit and tie. The film also stars Wang Ziwen, Wang Yuan, and Miao Fu, with special appearances by Wu Jing, Sun Li, Yue Yunpeng, Jia Ling, Dai Lele, Liang Chao, and Yue Hong.

The movie "My Hometown and Me" is directed by Ning Hao, Xu Zheng, Chen Sicheng, Yan Fei & Peng Damo, Deng Chao & Yu Baimei, with each of them directing five units. Zhang Yimou is the chief producer, Ning Hao is the chief director, and Zhang Yibai is the chief planner. It will be officially released on National Day.
