Beijing Universal Studios to officially open in May for 2021 spring trial operation

According to Beijing Daily, Beijing Universal Studios will start trial operation in the spring of 2021 and officially open in May. Beijing Universal Studios has seven major scenic spots, including Kung Fu Panda Land of Awesomeness, Transformers Base, Minions Park, Jurassic World Nublar Island, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Hollywood, and Waterworld.

Wang Dongsheng, deputy director of the Tongzhou District Cultural Tourism Zone Management Committee, said that the first phase of the park is expected to receive between 12 million and 15 million visitors per year. Universal Studios is to be built in three phases, of which a water park is planned to be built in the third phase. Currently, various amusement equipment in the first phase of the park are being installed and debugged.
