The film stars Takeshi Kitano, Kayoko Kishimoto, Kazuko Yoshiyuki and others. It was released on June 5, 1999. The story tells the story of a third-grade elementary school student Masao (played by Yusuke Sekiguchi) who develops a subtle relationship with Kikujiro (played by Takeshi Kitano) while searching for the story of his divorced mother.
