The movie "A New Interpretation of the Three Kingdoms" was written and directed by Yuichi Fukuda, starring Yo Oizumi as Liu Bei and Takeshi Muro as Zhuge Liang. Takayuki Yamada plays the "Yellow Turban", one of the rebels in the Yellow Turban Rebellion. Yu Shirota plays the great general Lu Bu, who is highly skilled in martial arts and unparalleled in the world. "A New Interpretation of the Three Kingdoms" summarizes the historical facts of the struggle for hegemony between the three kingdoms of Wei, Wu, and Shu in the late Han Dynasty of China about 1,800 years ago. The film will be released nationwide in Japan on December 11, 2020.
