Justice League's Cyborg accuses director Whedon of rudely insulting actors on set

Recently, Ray Fisher, who plays Cyborg in Justice League, accused Joss Whedon, the director responsible for the reshoots of Justice League, on Twitter of being unprofessional and rude to the actors and staff on the set, which was intolerable. He also pointed out that Geoff Johns, then president and chief creative officer of DC Entertainment, and Jon Berg, co-president of Warner in charge of production, were responsible for this, as they condoned Whedon's evil deeds.

Joss Whedon and Warner Bros. have not yet responded to Fisher's remarks. Jon Berg said, "We have never condoned any unprofessional behavior. I remember when we asked Fisher to say Cyborg's line 'Booyaa', he was very unhappy, but that was Cyborg's classic line in the cartoon."

"Booyaa" originated from street gang culture and was used to imitate the sound effects of shotguns. It was later accepted by white mainstream culture and its gang color faded.

Onlookers encouraged Cyborg to tell the truth, but he failed to provide any substance to the allegation. Some gossipmongers claimed that Whedon had always had a bad reputation, and some even revealed that Whedon had done worse things on the set.

In Justice League, there was a scene where the Flash pinned Wonder Woman down. At that time, Gardot, who played Wonder Woman, objected to this vulgar scene, and Whedon locked her in the house and threatened to leave if she didn't shoot. But Gardot refused to shoot, so Whedon had to find a double to let the Flash pin down.

At that time, neither the Flash nor Cyborg had much experience, so they just did whatever the director told them to do. There may be a sad story behind this. This is probably why Cyborg, after making a statement praising Whedon against his will, is now taking advantage of the situation to accuse Whedon.
