The TV series "Foundation", adapted from Asimov's sci-fi masterpiece, released a preview trailer and will be launched on Apple TV+ in 2021. The script is written by David S. Goyer, the screenwriter of "The Dark Knight" and "Batman Begins", and starred by Gerard Harris ("Chernobyl") and Lee Pace ("The Hobbit"). Harris plays the mathematical genius Hari Seldon, who predicts the end of the empire, and Pace plays Brother Day, the emperor of the Galactic Empire. The ultimate sci-fi epic is coming! "Foundation" preview (3DM subtitles): The original trilogy of "Foundation" tells the story of the 12,000-year-long history of the Galactic Empire, but a psychological historian made a shocking prediction: the empire is about to collapse, the entire galaxy is destined to become a ruin, and the dark age will last for a full 30,000 years.
