The rebooted version of "Pirates of the Caribbean" is undoubtedly Disney's highlight. When talking about Johnny Depp's role, Jerry Bruckheimer seemed very hesitant.

So, we are still working hard. At present, we have been developing this film series. We don't know what Depp's role will be. We will wait and see. This is the only way now." Judging from Jerry Bruckheimer's words, Depp's character is very likely not to return to the new version of "Pirates of the Caribbean". However, this may also be a smokescreen released by Jerry.

The original "Pirates of the Caribbean" series of films is a fantasy adventure film directed by Gore Verbinski, Joachim Ronnie and Espen Sandberg, starring Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley and others.
