Nailhead returns to classic horror film "Hellraiser" for HBO series adaptation

Last year we reported that the classic horror film "Hellraiser" (also known as "Ghost Raising") film series will be rebooted, and today (28) according to DeadLine's exclusive news, HBO has also become interested in this IP and has hired "Halloween" director David Gordon Green to adapt "Helpless" into a TV series.

DeadLine specifically pointed out in its revelation that HBO's TV series adaptation has nothing to do with the reboot of the movie series revealed last year. The reboot of "Hellraiser" will be directed by David Goyer, one of the screenwriters of "Batman: The Dark Knight."

Pinhead, the main villain of Hellraiser, has a unique appearance. He left a "deep" impression on many fans when he first appeared in the first film and has become the representative of the series. HBO's adaptation of the series will not involve the plot of the movie, but will focus on the background legend of the series and tell a brand new story.
