"Yowamushi Pedal" live-action movie new characters revealed, starring Kanna Hashimoto, to be released on August 14

The live-action movie of "Yowamushi Pedal", a famous manga about bicycle racing based on the work of Japanese manga artist Watanabe Wataru, is scheduled to be released on August 14. Yowamushi Pedal tells the story of the protagonist Onoda Sakamichi, a freshman at Chiba Prefectural Sohoku High School, who is an otaku who loves animation, games and Akihabara. He originally planned to join the animation research club after entering high school. However, he later met Imaizumi Shunsuke, who was also a freshman and was active in major bicycle competitions in junior high school. One day during training, he saw Onoda Sakamichi riding a bicycle up a steep slope, and his belief was shaken.

·It has been confirmed that the male protagonist Onoda Sakamichi will be played by Nagase Ren, the female protagonist Kansaki Kan will be played by the national goddess Hashimoto Kanna, and the male protagonist Imaizumi Shunsuke will be played by Ito Kentaro.
