Uncle Mark really wants to make a solo movie of "The Hulk" and play opposite Wolverine

Mark Ruffalo, who plays the Hulk in the Marvel Universe film series, confirmed last month that he would appear in the "She-Hulk" movie, but in a recent interview with Variety, he said that everything is not settled yet, and the future of himself and the Hulk is still unclear.

Mark said that although he would like to, it is very difficult to make a standalone movie for the Hulk. Hulk was sold to Universal Pictures before the Marvel Universe became successful. Although Marvel later redeemed Hulk, the complicated contract resulted in Universal Pictures still having the right of first refusal and distribution rights for the Hulk. This makes it even more difficult for Marvel to shoot a standalone movie for the Hulk. In fact, the Hulk played by Mark is just a "big supporting role" in the Avengers.

Mark's personal wish for the Hulk standalone movie is to be able to tell the story of Professor Banner's life when he is not with his Avengers companions. "I have never actually walked into Professor Banner's life. He always feels a little out of touch, like Rosencrantz and Guildenstern in the Avengers." (Two well-known supporting roles in Hamlet)

"It would be interesting to tell us what happens to the Hulk outside of the Avengers movie."

Interestingly, Uncle Mark revealed in an interview that he grew up reading the "X-Men" comics, so he has a more specific wish - "I really hope to be able to film the scenes with the Hulk and Wolverine."

Wolverine first appeared in the Marvel series in "The Hulk" No. 181. Considering that Disney now holds the copyright of "X-Men", such a linkage seems very appropriate.
