Netflix exclusive animation "Japan Sinks" official poster released, to be broadcast online this summer

Remember the original new animation of the classic masterpiece "Japan Sinks" revealed by Netflix last year? It has now been named "Japan Sinks 2020" and will be directed by the famous director Masaaki Yuasa. It is scheduled to be broadcast in the summer of 2020. On April 16, the official poster was released.

"Japan Sinks" is a classic science fiction novel published by Sakyo Komatsu in 1973. It has been adapted into movies and animations many times. The new animation "Japan Sinks 2020" will be set in Tokyo just after the 2020 Olympics, telling the adventure story of an ordinary family of four in Tokyo during the crisis of the sinking Japanese archipelago.

"Japan Sinks 2020" will be directed by director Masaaki Yuasa, with a total of 10 episodes scheduled to be broadcast exclusively on Netflix in the summer of 2020. Stay tuned.
