Audi concept car appears in Westworld Season 3, driving autonomously without a steering wheel

Speaking of "Internet celebrity" car models in movies, Audi must have a place. From "I, Robot" to "Iron Man" and "Transporter", it seems that the shadow of "four circles" can be seen. Recently, in the trailer of the third season of the American TV series "Westworld", Audi models appeared again. The car in the trailer adopts the body form of a four-door coupe, and the overall shape is very sci-fi. Combined with the through-type taillights and the glowing "four circles" logo, the car is officially the Aicon concept car unveiled at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show.

As a concept car, Audi Aicon has no steering wheel, no accelerator pedal, and is fully autonomous. The front lights can display various graphics and animations, which can instantly convey dangerous situations to other people on the road.

Audi said that the concept car uses pure electric power, realizes four-wheel drive through four electric motors, and the power system can provide a total of about 350 horsepower. The maximum range can reach about 800km.

It has modern, futuristic seats that slide forward and backward on a carpeted adjustable platform. Since accidents may not happen in the future, there are no seatbelts, so passengers can rotate their seats freely within 15 degrees.

The third season of Westworld will premiere on March 15. This season, AI will fight against AI. The initiator and producer of the series, Jonathan Nolan (Christopher Nolan's younger brother), said that this is a dystopian drama (harmony on the surface, corruption and struggle inside).
