"Mulan" photographer praises Liu Yifei: 90% of the stunts were performed by her

According to foreign media reports, recently, "Mulan" photographer Mandy Walker was interviewed and praised the heroine Liu Yifei for participating in all the action scenes and performing 90% of the stunts herself.

Mandy Walker said: "Liu Yifei is great. In addition to being lovely in life, she is very professional. She did most of the stunts herself, including horse riding, sword fighting, martial arts, war scenes, and stunts. "She did a great job, and you can see it from our shots because you can see her face very clearly when we were shooting these actions."

Walker is optimistic about the box office of "Mulan". She said that the war scenes we saw in the trailer were all shot in real life in front of the camera. They are "real" and not copied and pasted with CG special effects: "There are 60 horses and 100 people on each side of the war. We are doing it for real. I think you can also see in the movie that this is not an extension of special effects or CGI."

It is reported that "Mulan" will be released on March 27th North American time, and the release date in mainland China has not yet been determined.
