Venom 2 wraps up filming in the UK and will be released in North America on October 2

Sony's Venom 2 has finished filming in the UK, with Tom Hardy continuing to play the lead role of Venom and Woody Harrison playing the villain Carnage. It was previously rumored that the Dutch version of Spider-Man would make a cameo appearance in the movie.

In the comics, Carnage's real name is Cletus Kasayi. He became a murderer after coming into contact with the offspring of Venom's red symbiote. It was previously reported that the plot of Venom 2 would be related to Carnage, and now it has been confirmed.

"Venom 2" will be directed by Andy Serkis, starring Tom Hardy and Michelle Williams, and photographed by Quentin's personal photographer Robert Richardson. The film will be released in North America on October 2.
