The new Batman actor explains the film's atmosphere is as manic as the Pixies

After The Joker, the most anticipated DC superhero movie is obviously the new Batman starring Robert Pattinson. Although fans have heard a lot of rumors about the film's casting, few insiders have revealed information about the film's story and tone. In an interview with CinemaBlend, actor Peter Sarsgaard provided some fresh insights.

He made a very interesting analogy, comparing the atmosphere of the new Batman to the impression given by Pixies concerts decades ago. He believes that partly due to the relationship between the actors, the new Batman is full of youthful restlessness, just like the alternative rock band Pixies.

"The cast is amazing, and in my opinion this movie is different from other Batman movies just for this reason. The youthfulness of the crew is an advantage and feature, which reminds me of the atmosphere I felt when I went to see the Pixies' performance in college and looked around. The new Batman has that kind of energy, which is not particularly aimed at very young or old audiences, but makes everything agitated and chaotic."

"Like the Pixies, this Batman is very emotional and I think it's going to be a powerful masterpiece."

"The Batman" is scheduled to be released in June 2021. It will be directed by Matt Reeves, the director of "Rise of the Planet of the Apes", and Robert Pattinson will become the new DC boss.
