John Wick 4 spin-off to start filming in Hong Kong in 2025, starring Donnie Yen

Lionsgate announced that a new "John Wick 4" spin-off film is in production. The protagonist is the villain Kane in "John Wick 4", played by Donnie Yen. The director has not yet been determined. Robert Askins (The Umbrella Academy) will serve as the screenwriter. It is expected to start shooting in Hong Kong in 2025.

It is reported that the story of the film follows "John Wick 4", and the character Kane played by Donnie Yen has broken away from the High Table. More details have not yet been announced.

This is the second spin-off of the "John Wick" series. The first spin-off is "Ballerina," starring Ana de Armas, which is expected to be released in the United States on June 6, 2025.
