Deadpool 3 is in development at Marvel Studios

Recently, Ryan Reynolds, the star of the "Deadpool" series, confirmed that Marvel is developing the third movie in the series, "Deadpool 3".

"Yeah, we're developing it right now with the whole team. We're at Marvel Studios right now, it's like the big leagues out of nowhere. It's a little crazy, but yeah, we're developing it."

How Deadpool fits into the Marvel movies and whether it will still be an R-rated movie are all open questions. However, a few months ago, co-writer Paul Wernick said that Marvel had given them permission to continue to make R-rated movies for the Deadpool series. Around the same time, Reynolds released a picture of visiting Marvel Studios, which led fans to speculate that this might be a discussion about the Deadpool 3 movie.

The next film from Marvel Studios is the Black Widow movie starring Scarlett Johansson, which is scheduled to be released on May 1, 2020.
