Comic-based action movie Bloodshot postponed, Vin Diesel starring

The comic-based movie "Bloodshot" starring Vin Diesel has been postponed. The film was originally scheduled to be released in North America on February 21, 2020, but has now been changed to March 13.

Bloodshot is a best-selling IP under Warrior Entertainment. Many people call it the third largest "superhero universe" after Marvel and DC. In the comics, Bloodshot was originally a soldier, but was later injured and nano-devices were implanted in his body, turning him into a superhero.

The film version tells the story of a seriously injured soldier who was dying and had his entire body of blood replaced by cutting-edge nanotechnology, which gave him exaggerated superpowers such as strength and instant self-healing. However, while controlling his body, his thoughts and memories were also changed. Now he can no longer distinguish between reality and fantasy, and needs to find out the truth.

It seems that "Bloodshot" will be a heroic movie with a strong 80s style, but judging from the several flashbacks in the trailer, the plot of this film is not simple, but will involve science fiction elements such as time loop paradox, memory and reality.

The "Warrior Universe" was created by Sony Pictures, and "Bloodshot" is the first work in the series. It officially started shooting in May this year. The cast also includes well-known filmmakers such as Guy Pearce, Eiza Gonzalez, Toby Kebbell, Sam Heughan, etc. It is directed by Dave Wilson, the director of "Love, Death & Robots".
