The model of Anno Hideaki's "Shin Ultraman" based on the work of Narita Toru was revealed

Today (December 14), Tsuburaya's "TSUBURAYA CONVENTION 2019" opened in Tokyo. At the opening ceremony, the "Shin Ultraman (シン・ウルトラマン)" movie, planned and written by Hideaki Anno and directed by Shinji Higuchi, announced its new LOGO and Ultraman style.

It is reported that the Ultraman in "Shin Ultraman" is designed based on the concept of Narita Toru's painting "The embodiment of truth, justice and beauty" and does not have a color timer.

Hideaki Anno will participate in the production of the movie "Shin Ultraman" as a planner and scriptwriter, and the script discussion draft was completed on February 5, 2019. After completing "Neon Genesis Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo" (the film will be released in June 2020), Hideaki Anno will officially join the team of Shinji Higuchi. This is the second collaboration between the two after "Shin Godzilla".

The movie "Shin Ultraman" is scheduled to be released in 2021.
