Disney's total box office in 2019 exceeded $10 billion, and its ability to attract money is amazing

Today (December 9), Disney announced that its films grossed over $10 billion in 2019 (9.997 billion on Sunday, including $3.28 billion in North America and $6.72 billion outside North America, and officially broke $10 billion on Monday). This is the first time in film history that a single film company has exceeded $10 billion in annual box office.

The 10 billion figure also significantly refreshed the record of "single-company movie annual box office" in film history. Disney broke the record in July this year - the old record was 7.61 billion US dollars, which was also created by Disney in 2016. The box office of Disney at the end of 2019 will be the final result of the new record, after all, "Star Wars 9" has not yet been released.

The 10 billion does not include the box office of Fox movies after Disney acquired Fox. If it is included, Disney's total box office this year is 11.94 billion US dollars. Of course, it does not include Marvel's participation in the production, but the movie is Sony's "Spider-Man: Far From Home".
