Marvel and Tsuburaya collaborate to launch new Ultraman comics in 2020

Today (November 23), at the Tokyo Comic Show, Marvel and Tsuburaya Productions officially announced their collaboration, and the two will launch a new "Ultraman" comic in 2020.

CB Seversky, editor-in-chief of Marvel Comics, said: "As one of the most popular IPs in the world, Ultraman has one of the most passionate fan bases in the world. Just like Marvel, Ultraman has attracted generations through its fascinating stories, and now it is more than just a TV show. Movies, toys, games, comics and many other forms (Ultraman) have appeared, and I am very happy to show you a brand new chapter of Ultraman next year."

Tsuburaya CEO Takayuki Tsukagoshi said: "We are delighted to have created fascinating characters and stories that have been loved by fans around the world for more than 80 years. We are also pleased to announce our collaboration with Marvel, which has long been a trendsetter in the entertainment industry. I am very excited about the opportunity to create a new story and deliver it to Marvel fans and Ultraman fans around the world."

The official said that more detailed information will be released later.
