Mainland China selects "Nezha: The Devil Child Comes into the World" to compete for the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film

The American Film Association has announced the list of films submitted by 93 countries and regions for the Oscars for "Best International Film" (formerly "Best Foreign Language Film") next year. Mainland China has selected "Nezha: The Devil Child Comes into the World" to compete for this year's Oscars "Best International Film" award (formerly Best Foreign Language Film), while Hong Kong and Taiwan have respectively selected "Drug War 2: The King and the Earth" and "Who Fell in Love with Him First".

This year, 93 countries and regions have submitted films for the Oscar International Film Award. The entry requirements are that the film must be longer than 40 minutes, released outside the United States, and the main language of the film cannot be English. The 10 selected films will be announced on December 16, the nominations will be announced on January 13 next year, and the awards will be presented on February 9.
