The new version of "Death on the Nile" has started filming and announced the cast, which will be shot on 65mm film. This new version is adapted from Agatha Christie's classic novel and focuses on a murder case caused by a love triangle on the Nile.

Kenneth Branagh, the director and star of Murder on the Orient Express, returns to direct and play the great detective Poirot. Gal Gadot, Letitia Wright, Armie Hammer, Annette Bening, Ali Fazal, Sophie Okonedo, Tom Bateman, Emma Macken, Don French, Rose Leslie, Jennifer Saunders, and Russell Brand also star. It will be released in North America on October 9, 2020.

"The Passion of Crime is dangerous and sexy as Agatha Christie tells a riveting story of tumultuous emotions and violent crime," Branagh said in a statement, noting that the film will feature a dramatic new twist, stunning desert landscapes, and will be shot on 65mm film.

The new version of "Death on the Nile" will be released in North America on October 9, 2020.
