Nezha surpasses Wolf Warrior 2 in North America, becoming the second Chinese-language film to break $3 million after The Wandering Earth

On September 16, according to media reports, as of last Thursday, "Nezha: The Devil Child Comes into the World" has grossed a total of 2.94 million US dollars in North America, and is about to become the second Chinese-language film this year to exceed 3 million US dollars after "The Wandering Earth".

The cumulative box office of "Nezha: The Devil Child Comes into the World" has exceeded the final North American box office of "Wolf Warrior 2" (US$2.72 million), the champion of domestic film history, and the final result is expected to reach about 60% of "The Wandering Earth" (US$5.88 million).

On August 30, the IMAX version of "Ne Zha: The Devil Child Comes into the World" landed in the UK and will be released nationwide on September 6. In the related promotional posters of "Ne Zha: The Devil Child Comes into the World", the translation is basically the same as the North American version of "Ne Zha: The Devil Child Comes into the World". The movie name is not simply translated as "Ne Zha", but "I am the destiny".

On September 8, the movie Ne Zha: The Devil Child Comes into the World grossed over 4.8 billion yuan at the box office. It had been in the theaters for 45 days and still ranked second in the total box office list in Chinese film history.

It is worth noting that the top three in the current film box office history list represent three types of domestic action movies, animated movies, and science fiction movies. Among them, "The Wandering Earth" and "Nezha: The Devil Child Comes into the World" were both released in 2019.
