The TV animation of "Azur Lane" is adapted from the famous popular game "Azur Lane". It tells the story of a blue planet with 71% of its surface covered by sea water. The unknown enemy "Siren" appeared in the ocean. Faced with the overwhelming combat power of the enemy, humans lost more than 90% of the control of the sea area, and technology and living standards rapidly regressed.

Humans have a deep shadow over the ocean and unknown enemies. Decades later, in order to regain their former glory, the major factions finally put aside their past grudges and jointly established a third-party military organization, "Azur Lane". The purpose of Azur Lane is to gather and share technology and resources from major factions around the world, build a new force that can compete with the Sirens, and regain control of the sea!
