The release date of "Neon Genesis Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo" is set to be released in June 2020

The official EVA also released an announcement, confirming that the second trailer of Neon Genesis Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 is now playing in theaters. The official also promised to release a new movie poster and related information in the afternoon of July 19th.

Today (July 19), Makoto Shinkai's new animated film "Weathering with You" was officially released in Japan. Many Japanese netizens revealed that a new trailer for "Neon Genesis Evangelion: 3.0 You Are (Not) Alone" was broadcast before the screening of "Weathering with You" (in theaters), and announced that "Neon Genesis Evangelion: 3.0 You Are (Not) Alone" will be released in June 2020.

Prior to this, the official did not announce the specific release date of "Neon Genesis Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 You Can (Not) Redo" but only stated that the movie will be released in 2020:

The official has released a 10-minute and 40-second clip of "Neon Genesis Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo Evangelion". This fourth theatrical version of "EVA" was first announced in the ending trailer of "EVA: Q". The official has not yet released more information.
