"Drug War 2" starring Andy Lau and Louis Koo announced to be rescheduled to July 19

"Drug War 2: King of Drug Lords", directed by Herman Yau, produced by Andy Lau and starring Louis Koo, Michael Miu, Karena Lam, Leslie Cheung, Carlos Chan, Michelle Wai, Alex Fong, Ouyang Jing, Li Shang, with special starring Kent Cheng, Gordon Lam, Chrissie Chau and Cherrie Ying, announced today that it will be released nationwide on July 19 and a new poster was released.

When talking about his feelings about the collaboration, Andy Lau praised Louis Koo: "My biggest feeling this time is that I met an actor who is as passionate and motivated about movies as I am."

Louis Koo previously said: "'Drug War 2' is a brand new story, it has a deeper focus on the issue of 'drugs'. I think a movie can not only tell a story, it should also be a mirror that illuminates reality, which is very realistic. Regardless of whether the character is white or black, the most important thing is how to perform and interpret it. The inner world of the character of Ksitigarbha is more complicated and he is more deeply 'poisoned'."
