The Slovak actor Vladimír Furdík, who played the Night King, showed his enthusiasm for this assassination.

Vladimír Furdík said in an interview with the American news network The Daily Beast: "I think this is a good decision, because no one would have thought (Arya is the Night King's terminator), and no one knew where she was hiding ten minutes before Arya jumped to the Night King. Everyone saw Jon Snow and other characters, but not Arya, so no one could guess the appearance of the ending, but I think this decision is good. Who else can kill the Night King besides Arya? I think this is the best choice."

Vladimír Furdík also talked about the identity of the Night King. He said: "Many people asked me where he (the Night King) came from. I put a photo on Instagram, which was a photo of me and an actor performing stunts at the Tower of Joy. He and I were wearing the same costume, so some people speculated that the Night King was Jon Snow's family. Some people said that the Night King was from the Targaryen family, and some said that he was from the Lannister family. I can't figure it out myself."

However, when asked more questions about the "Night King", Vladimír Furdík said: "There are some things I don't know. Maybe in the future I will know more about him (Night King) and complete his story."
